A very happy escape!
Jennifer, did you know that Mrs. Wilder's daughter refused to let The First Four Years be published just after her mother's death? It wasn't until after her daughter died that it went to print.
I love the Little House books, they remind me of how easy we have it in the 21st century.
Children's books are always a nice escape.
