I absolutely cannot seem to dig myself out from under the pile of crap on my
desk. It's looked like this for days. There are also two piles of papers
on each side of my chair. Uuuuuugh. Can't get anything done like this, but
can't seem to get it clean, either.

So, this is kinda how my morning went.....
6:30 got off work
7:00 got to Tim's and got J off to school
8:20 got K up and off to school at 8:45
9:00 got home and settling in to go to bed
9:01 phone rings, it's my dad....he blew a tire on his way to his CT scan
9:20 arrive to pick up dad and haul him to his appointment. Leaving truck
along roadside
11.00 back home from appointment and hook up with Tim to get my dad's tire
changed
12:00 tire changed, dad back in business.......
12:30 here I sit, not tired...so posting my pic for the day....good thing I
don't have to work tonight.
I was so glad I was around to answer the phone to help my dad out....... He
was hesitant to even call but I told him I'd have kicked his butt if he
hadn't and I found out later........

We had a leadership conference Friday night on campus and it was required
that at least two members of each organization go... and you could only go
for one organization which was a bit of a pain (as was it ending at 10 when
we were promised 9). We learned our DiSC personality type or whatever and
then had to get in groups and do stuff with other people of our type. I was
a D (for dominant) with i coming in a close second (influence). Our table
had a lot of fun... minus the being exhausted and wanting to go home thing.

I interviewed a woman who crochets these bears and donates them to the local
hospital emergency room for children. She gave me one.

I helped my aunt and uncle move their whole house into one room. This is
about 85%. The rest is big stuff like desk, bed, couch..... I'm tired!

Okay, so we have extended our Biggest Loser diet at work.........If I lose
just one measley pound a week, I will have hit my goal by spring......And by
posting this, I'm being held accountable...........
PS-Not that losing one measley pound a week is going to be easy, at least
not for me it wont........ :{

More bad news at my place of employment........
15 years ago, this was one of the very best corporations around.. since
then they have downsized from 11,000 employees to 3,000 employees and have
closed up 10 million feet of manufacturing space and it still doesn't seem
to be enough...
I have no idea what this means for me for the future but it certainly has me
concerned.....I really need this job....

the record, going to a meeting after you have consummed an inappropriate
amount of wine for lunch is not a good idea.

Got my first acceptance letter for law school today! I also got wait listed
at the school I didn't even think would consider me. :)

Here is my view from the last couple of days. Today was a little better for
the sale. Until 12pm hit then everything just died. I ended up making over
$300 in the sale, to bad none of it is mine. But it felt good helping out my
aunt!

Here is some of the Pampered Chef items I am selling. Today was kind of
slow. Mostly other consultants and family stopped by. Fingers crossed
tomorrow is better.
