Why does this always happen? No matter how I hold her leash, at some point
it always ends up caught in her armpit!

Plastic bag blowing around up in my backyard tree, like in "American
Beauty." What a strange and tragic movie...

Baked fish with stewed tomatoes and wild rice fresh and hot from the oven.
Thought the pic was cool 'cause you can see the steam.

Co-worker out sick today, did all the sessions and school visits for the day
by 2pm. Then drove my arse to the office to attempt to finish up some
clinical reviews due Monday, but the server is down, so no reviews for
me-I'm going HOME! Yay.

Not the best pic cuz he blends in with the carpet, but here's a pup I met
today named King.

Had a heaving sob-fest this morning and now my eyes are all puffy and burny
and bloodshot. :-(

Just abso-fuckin'-lutely THRILLED to be alive today. I'm sure my zest for
life is simply exuding from every cell of my being.

Check out this wierd growth that was inside a green pepper I cut open today.
It sorta looked like a small dismembered ear. Bleck!

Veggie quiche I made for brunch with a few friends at my house today. 250
calories per big slice-delish! I'm really so jazzed about cooking over the
last few months that I have submitted food pics a lot. I've lost 15lbs since
late November. :) I also went to an awesome concert today, but the pics I
took there were so-so because of the lighting. If I could have submitted an
audio clip of the concert, that would've been a better representation of the
day today!

And here is the after. I think I kinda love it. Just have to get used to
having bangs again, and figure out how to use a clippy when it gets hot and
humid but not look like I'm 12.

It was SO PAST time for a new style! Here is the before pic...

When I lived in the midwest I used to see these all the time but no one
makes them on the east coast, so I asked my Mom to find me one. Its a
handmade animal (preferably one with hanging udders) to stuff all your
re-usable plastic bags in. User friendly and looks nicer than a bag of bags
hanging on the doorknob. I LOVE it!

I love caesar dressing, but caesar dressing is not good for me. Tonight I
mixed hummus with balsamic vinegar, lemon juice and fish sauce. No
parmesean, no oil, and it was deliciously caesar-similar.

At the crisis center with a teen today from 10pm-3am SUCK! :-(

Meg, you inspired me with your earlier pic. I absolutely <3 the crunch coat! I never think about it until it gets warm outside but I had to have one after I saw yours.

Went to the grocery store last night for one of those big stock-up trips.
This cupboard was pretty much bare except for the spices yesterday. Now
there are ingredients for many recipies I'll be making-yay!

Taking a pic of the bright afternoon sunlight hitting my lei and making me
long for spring...

Cheat. If you're going to fall asleep in one of the good chairs at Starbucks
on a busy friday afternoon, there should be a time limit or something.
Inconsiderate if you ask me!

Kt 346/365

I actually heard someone say to the barista "thanks a latte" as he left. And
the winner of the "nerdy line of the year" award is...

So I've been on compatible partners for 4 months now. Its the gay version of
eharmony. I've just been lurking and reading profiles, not putting any
effort or committment into finding someone, even when people have initiated
contact with me first, I haven't been responding. And then "Jayne" showed
up. And I'm kina excited about her, I have to admit. We're on step #3-open
ended questions. *sheepish grin*
