A Zentangle I made for myself for Valentine's Day.
From a design standpoint it's a white-hot mess (ignore the awkward
sun-splotch on the left- it's hiding a major boo-boo) but I am getting
better at making clean lines. I really like doing it, although deciding
which pattern to use in a space is still hard for me.

Time to say farewell to this old friend. This was the first Nordic-style
"stitch-n-cut" sweater I ever made, almost 20 years ago. I used cheap yarn
in case I messed it up, and now it's falling apart. Also, it's HUGE. I'm
going to run it through the washer a few times, see if I can get it to felt,
then make a bag or something out of it.

Finally finished the Sweater from Hell! I started this probably close to 10
years ago. The pattern is actually quite nice but I had to make it much more
complicated by recalculating it for a larger gauge AND using two different
dye lots of yarn (didn't have enough of either). The shoulder strap was
murder -- if anyone has ever tried knitting intarsia in the round, you know
exactly what I mean.
This is fresh off the needles. Still have to wash and block it. Will I ever
wear it? Who knows? Who cares? At least it's done!

Cheat: A rather un-dramatic recreation of how Jack & I celebrated New Year's
Eve. This is the mini-firepit I built out of stuff I had laying around. It
was really cold (and dark) but we had a heluva lot of fun, including
s'mores.
BTW, s'mores don't work as well when it's below freezing -- the chocolate is
too cold. Oh well.
