Another year in the books. Been full of a lot of ups and downs, and I'm
kind of happy to put it to bed tonight with high hopes for a better, happier
year to come. And so, this is my ass. Year two, don't let the door hit you

Photo credit to Clint after I had gone to bed. Our dogs NEVER snuggle with

Tonight I finally bit the bullet and cleaned everything out of my closet
that doesn't fit anymore because it's too small. Every hanger in this photo
had something on it that doesn't fit anymore. I'm sick to my stomach about
this and can't believe I've let it come to this. Not sure if I want to cry
or throw up. Drowning in self hatred tonight... Tomorrow I start anew
trying to remedy the situation. Hoping that by posting this photo and
caption, maybe I'll stay committed to it this time.

This is a close-up of a painting that we passed on our way to and from our
hotel room... Apparently last night someone decided it needed a little
fixing up and added some fake eyelashes. It made me laugh every single time
we passed, so I finally took a photo. Heh.

In Vegas for the weekend. This was our view during dinner at a great little
place at the Venetian. I had a pancetta and goat cheese pizza that was
absolutely to die for.

I left work early yesterday, and apparently I missed the delivery of these
fabulous flowers from Clint. They are absolutely beautiful and are making
my office smell amazing. Love. :)

Valentine's Day. Its been a good day and night. Hope yours has been full

Cheat from last night when we lit the candles on Clint's cake, sang him the
birthday song, and dug into the cake. It tasted even better than it looked!

Clint's b-day is this week, so his dad and I collaborated on a cake for him today.  It was the first time either of us had made a layer cake, and we are super proud of how well we did. :D

I absolutely love one of my Wednesday/Friday classes this semester. They're
SO much fun and doing such a good job so far. And every week, someone new
brings treats for the class. This week: Valentine's Day cupcakes. Love
this group.

For the next 12 weeks, instead of individual therapy, I'll be participating
in a group. Seven women, three hours one night per week. Tonight was night
one. Going to be seriously intense. This is my homework for next week.
Really a very meaningless picture, but this experience was definitely the
biggest part of my day.

This is Nick, one of my student mentors. When I saw him on Saturday, he had
GIANT poofy hair. Today he walked in with what was almost a mullet. He
looks absolutely ridiculous. This photo really doesn't do it justice.
