I lurk around on a Livejournal community called Behind the Lens. Each month one of the members coordinates a photo challenge, this month is "Perspective" and changing it up. Since children are usually looked down at or made soft, I looked up at my friend's daughter and made her look harsh.
An empty box? Yes, but what kind of empty box? A Girl Scout Cookie box! And ALL of her Girl Scout Cookie boxes are empty! She's sold out! Whoo hoo! No more booths! Yee haw!
A friend commissioned a painting from me. I've spent the day looking at it and I've decided it's done talking to me, if I continue to work on it, I'll be forcing it and, frankly, that will ruin it. Here's the back of the canvas because I don't want to post a photo without her permission.
49 was the high today, but it stayed in the 30s most of the day. To just tried to keep warm. Yah I'm a wuss compared to the upper midwest and the east coast but it's friggin cold for Austin!
My mom's bulldog puppy, Cash, taken in the middle of November. Due to many health problems, he had to be put down today. :( His trachea narrowed to the size of a thread as it entered his lungs, he had compressed discs that would rupture as he grew, which would paralyze him and he wasn't in good shape.
One of the photos Zoe used on her science project board. These are magnets that are strong enough to support their own weight. They're also strong enough to pinch your finger when they snap together if one is not careful.
