Little did we know this wasn’t even the start of the overdue freeze! I
still do have to keep it down a bit about the fact that I loves me some
winter now that I know what wonders await my camera’s trusty macro setting.
This is the driver’s window of the Great White Chariot (aka my neighbor’s
truck), and since there’s nothing to show scale it’s a good thing I remember
that the flowery slightly raised crystals just to the right of center were
about ¼ inch across at most. The reflected background is sunrise glow
lighting up cloud cover over the Bitterroot Mountains.

Great shot. It's amazing how good the little point and shoot cameras are at macros.

I know I'll never again willingly be without a camera that has an awesome macro setting! :D
