Some days, grocery-store bouquets are my salvation. I refer to shots like
this as ‘fast food for the camera’; they’re quick, easy, and always richly
colorful but present so little challenge other than holding my hands steady
or bracing the camera that I inevitably feel guilty using them for posts.

Don't feel guilty. Macro shots are always interesting and you still had to do some thinking and planning.
