My Mother moved today from her house of 35 years and my childhood house.
Sad to see it go, but I know it's for the best, my Mum wants to live on one
floor so her new place is a bungalow :)

I am getting to the age where I understand the appeal of one floor. But it;s hard to say good-bye to your childhood home.
It is hard to say goodbye to the childhood home - even though I'm sure you are happy about her move - it is strange to think other people will be living in that home.
