Anybody know what this is? It's about 5 feet tall and just started growing
in my pot where the snap peas were. It looks kind of evil. (Nevermind. Since
I took this picture, I have found it to be a sunflower. I never planted a
sunflower anywhere in the pots or in the yard. And nobody around our house
has sunflowers growing. Bizarre.)

Does anyone have bird feeders? If so, they're heavy on the sunflower seeds. If a bird pooped out the seed it would grow where it dropped.
One thing that happened after Hurricane Katrina was that hundreds and hundreds of sunflowers started growing from all the bird feeders that were flung into the wind.
