I later found out it was central Oregon burning down that brought this on!
All the way over here in the ‘Root we’re getting smoke from wildfire
activity near Sisters, Oregon—and that’s one heck of a haul, much further
than we made it.

We were camping right on the other side of Sisters and the smoke made a BEAUTIFUL sunset. I got some wonderful photos from it!

We live very close to Sisters - that was some fire! Gorgeous shot - I love the rays gleaming out of the clouds.
Gorgeous. A friend of mine calls this effect "God fingers."
