Ordinarily I **never** post a photo the day it’s taken, because I know full
well the day could bring just about anything…however, this being my best and
closest osprey shot yet, I just had to. This big fella cruised through
about thirty or forty feet frme while I was snapping away like mad, having
awakened this morning to the frantic “klee-klee-klee-klee” mobbing call of
the kestrel, answered by the “Rark! Rark!” I love to hear because that’s a
raven. There were two, and two kestrels, plus assorted irritated songbirds
flittering around, but after 141 pics before 8:30 this morning, I feel
confident that I’ve had my fun, taken some good shots, and had another
remarkable moment birdwatching!
