This whole thing just makes me so sad. How can a company drill in the
middle of the gulf and have merely nothing for an emergency plan? My cousin
in a marine biologist in Florida…she is dreading the first oil ball that
washes up to shore. She’s literally waiting with a boat and a net to start
catching oil and washing birds.

it's very very sad. i can't even look at the pictures of oil-soaked birds and other animals, it just makes me want to throw up.
