I’m still struggling with bitterness. I love this image, but what it makes
me wonder right now is: well, when you have built apartments on every
pasture, cut down every tree for safety’s sake, and littered the big sky
with contrails…*your* children will be safe and warm, but where will the
geese and the misfits like me fly to escape a world of which we want
precisely NO part?

I agree. I guess it is the other side of the tax story. It is so nice to have public land that is preserved for all generations - but alas the economic/political environment doesn't seem to keen on this idea....

Nice shot. I agree with you. I am thankful to live in an area with a lot of preserved land and open space. I can't imagine not having it.
