Womens' Hiking Group Day! Today we took a walk along the Metolius River.
The yellowish tree in the background is a Larch - one of my favorite fall
trees. Most of the year it looks like a pine tree but in the fall its
leaves (needles) change color and then drop. It adds some nice color to the
pine forest.
