A fiddle-head fern - completely edible, and when prepared with
garlic,butter and lemon juice, very yummy!! And good for you to boot!!

Funny, when we were in Maine we saw pickled fiddleheads. I think anything in garlic, butter and lemon would be yummy!
I don't think I've actually seen a fiddlehead fern or maybe I have and just didn't recognize it.
