Today Greg Mortenson spoke on campus. He's a global humanitarian who went
from mountain climber to builder of schools in Pakistan and Afghanistan. To
date, he's helped build more than 170 schools in remote regions of those
countries and has helped more than 50K girls in those regions get an
education. Cool stuff. If you want to know more, the book Three Cups of
Tea tells his story and is a great read. I got to meet him afterwards and
get a booked signed--I was a little giddy. :D
