This turned out to be one of several recent mornings when the local
birdlife was NOT getting along well. Assorted chase combinations whipped by
over and over, with the final tally being in the zip code of 8 crows, 4
magpies, and 1 **severely** irritable kestrel, seen here in the lead with 2
magpies and a single crow just across the street from my window.
