The Boyf and his friends play on a recreational softball league during the
summer. This is my first time playing; I never played softball before in my
life. At my first game I got a base hit -- one of three on my team. We lost
10-0 hahah

Love your shades! I am impresse your first time out & a base hit! Did you have fun? - sounds like there may not have been a lot of team pressure which could make it much more fun!
