Not the best pic but a fun one—this is one of our local flickers, much
harder to spot lately as they forage over a wider area to fledge babies,
taking a grooming break. Between its enthused attention to its back and a
random breeze, it poofed out into a feathery mess right as I snapped the
shutter.
